Recent years, with the rapid development of the automotive industry, thetesting in Auto parts has became more and more important, and both testingmethods and testing technology have changed dramatically. With high stability andelectromagnetic compatibility performance, more and more methods have been usedin the industrial field testing. Steering wheel angle sensor position and acombination vehicle are important parts of ESP. Its accuracy and stability is directlyrelated to driving safety. SAS is used to measure the steering angle of the steeringwheel rotation, and the signal acquisition of combined sensor is collected by ESP,for judging the state of the core body signals. The purpose of this article is todevelop a performance test bench for the Steering wheel angle position sensor.Based on other related articles and the assignment paper, we introduce thestructure and the design of the hardware and described the principle of the hardwareselection and its principle. The hardware we selected included CAN card, servomotor and drive, digital I/O board, Programmable power supply, Optical isolationcircuit design, which focuses on the servo motor control system design.We use LabVIEW to complete the desigine of the software. Firstly, weintroduced the design principle, then described the overall scheme and the designmethod of each subroutines. We described the main design method, design processused in logging in subroutine, the main program, measurement subroutines, usermanagement subroutine, device management subroutine, data management. To getthe comprehensive test device parameters by measurement, processing, analysis,storage, get the whole information of the experiment parameters. The test bench hasthe functions of test dataefficient storage, display, playback and can generate thedata report. We finished the design of the acquisition. Finally, we complete theangular position sensor test bench for performance testing and the results ofexperimental data analysis.Experimental results showed that the Steering wheel angle position sensorperformance test system is stable, reliable, and the functional design can meet thetechnical requirement. The system can meet the requirements of industrialautomation testing. and achieve the system security and reliability of the designaspects of the design requirements.
