The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in flexible pavement surface layerhas been a major sensitive issue in the construction industry. Due to limited spaceavailable in landfills, the amount of high quality virgin aggregate declines, and the highprice of oil, the use of RAP in new asphalt concrete mixtures has become very attractive. Therefore how determine the availability of applications of Hot In-Plant Recycling isvery important to recycle waste RAP material with Hot In-Plant Recycling technology, the paper would addressed the issues.Through evaluated performance of waste RAP materials and recycled RAP binders, this research has been conducted to verify the prediction estimated Equation of targetbinders performance, analyzed the effect of RAP performance on its applications. For different functional requirements of different layers of asphalt pavement on theasphalt mixture, two HMA mixtures containing different sources of RAP was designed.During the design process this research studied some question of mix design process ofRAP added mixtures, such as defining the dosage of asphalt recycling agent, estimatingthe dosage of virgin binders, mixing procedure and mixing temperature of HMAcontaining RAP. Besides the paper analyzed the improving effect of high viscosityrecycling agent.Through differern aging degree of RAP、differernt recycling method of RAP binderand differert amount of RAP regenerating test, the effect of the aging degree of RAP、recycling method of RAP binder and differert amount of RAP on performance of HMAcontaining RAP was studied. Based on this study, the paper put forward a method ofdetermining the availability of applications of Hot In-Plant Recycling and formulatedamount selection criteria of aged asphalt mixture.Using Goal programming and Simplex method developed a computer aided designprogram of Recycled Asphalt Mixture, it can improved flexibility and accuracy of theplant mix recycled bituminous grading design. The results of this paper provides a reference for regeneration applications of agedasphalt mixtures, and be contribute to the application of the technology of the Hot in-plant Recycling....
