Air compressor is a kind of equipment which is widely used in industrial andmining enterprises. It plays the role of big energy consumption during the productionprocess. In recent years,along with the fierce enterprise competition and the tension ofthe energy supply also with the target to reduce the producing cost and correspond thenational energy-saving reduction call. It is very necessary and feasible by adoptingoptimize and adjustment options for the potential energy-saving process.Though reading relevant information,this paper analysis deeply the existingsystem of air compressor and have a comprehensive understanding of the aircompressor system,pointing out the current system’s problems such as the suctionexhaust temperature fluctuations,hot and cold offset deficiencies. In order to meet thedemand of the production process,this paper puts forward the optimization plan for theair compressor system.First of all,by setting up the mathematical models for system equipment analysisthe main factors which affect the air compressor energy consumption. Pointed out thatthe intake air temperature compared with other factors which affects the energyconsumption greatly. Especially when the parameters of the outdoor weather are not inideal conditions,lowering the compressor suction temperature can significantly reducethe power consumption of the air compressor. Nearly3℃suction temperature drop canreduce1%of the compressor energy consumption. Because of the system characteristicssuch as large number of the air compressors units,power consumption base,long-running,its energy conservation benefit is very impressive.Secondly,through by installing the bypass pipe after compression procedurecarried out reducing the transmission pipeline delivery pressure principle analysis,pointed out its operational feasibility and application conditions. Elaborated outdoorweather conditions for the regulation of the bypass flow associated factors. The smallestin the bypass flow conditions can still reduce the compressor outlet pressure setting of0.3%.This system optimization plan does not require too many changes for the originalsystem,maneuverability,ease of adjustment with significant energy savings. Again,by changing the procedure order of the outdoor air,put the wet airdehumidified in the front-end process,when the moisture value is acquired to the user,then passing the solid drier in the next,the processing state of air at a suitable point,avoiding contain water drops in the compressor, the working condition of thecompressor is good. Also,compared with the original system,saving the reheatingenergy,which played a very good demonstration effect for the full utilization of energy.To meet user’s parameter index such as pressure,temperature,relative humidityrequirements,this paper studied the necessity of selection parameters in the compressorsuction and carried out on a psychrometric chart showing the process.Finally, though typical urban outdoor statistical analysis of meteorologicalparameters,selected the calculated standard conditions,with examples of calculationand analysis of the original system and the optimization’s energy consumption of themain components of the system and carried out data matching,reached the system’senergy saving.I hope this paper’s calculation method and data obtained can have some influenceto the real engineering applications.
