As one of the most important constructions in highway transportion system, thestructure style of bridge also become complex day by day. The health condition ofexisting bridge, which helps to enture the safety of bridges, becomes more and moreimportant. For this demand, bridge health monitoring syxterm and intelligent evaluatetechnology have developed rapidly, so it becames a focus research of bridge. This paper takes the Yongjiang Bridge as a background, the technique of fuzzyassessment and Variable-Weight Synthesizing are introrduced to the bridge assessmentbased onAHP. It includes such aspects as follows:(1) In the paper, we introduced the studing abroad in the current bridge healthmonitoring and evaluation technique. After thar, several methods on the heakthcondition of bridge were introduced. Through comparison and judgment,we decided touse the method of fuzzy evaluating.(2) AHP is introduced. The hierarchy assessment model of cable-stayed bridge isestablished based on the Yongjiang bridge, questionary is desighed and the weight ofevery index is determind.(3) The theory of Variable-Weihgt Synthesizing and the method of how todetermine the bottom index is introduced. The theory of fuzzy inference is alsoexpounded to apply uncertainAHP.(4) The theory of fuzzy inference and Variable-Weihgt Synthesizing areintroduced. The health conditions of Yongjiang Bridge is evaluated using the methodproposed. According to the standard or regulation in the bridge domain, a criterion foreach judgement is determined. Trapezoid membership function is used and the fuzzyevaluating indexes are obtained. Last, we finished the evaluating of the health conditionof Yongjiang Bridge.
