Composition has got great development and widely applied in many fieldsafter Bauhaus advocated the process of modern design education system in theearly20th century. Its influence has penetrated into every aspect of the design art,and their professions have formed the corresponding theoretical basis. At the sametime, peoples’ understanding about treating their own living space has alreadychanged from "hard environment" to "soft environment" under the societybackground of the modern socialist market economic development. The designersengaged in interior space environment design also research the concept ofcomposition, make full use of the principle technique and create the indoor spaceenvironment, in order to realize the new living environment, the high quality ofecological environment and renewable space culture. And how to grasp the quantityof the rational use of the elements and the quality of space environment in interiordesign. The method is discusses and summaries the basic composition elementsincluding space, boundary and set in specific interior design, in order to formrational interior design theory.The content of this paper includes the application of form composition aboutspace design, interface design and display design in interior design. First, the paperstates the application of abstract composition element including basic point, line,surface and body, discusses the law of basic elements in the interior space design,analysis the influence of simple composition element in interior design, and itsunique composition attribute to the participants about appreciation. Second, thispaper focuses on the form composition in the application of interior design,according to different space attribute transformation, interface visual perceptionand the creation of the context and derived design principles and design expressiontechnique, combined with the form composition of design case, and discusses theplasticity of form composition in the interior design. At last, introducing theinterior design cases of the New Geological Museum in An Hui province and theEast Museum of the American National Museum, combined with the formcomposition, this paper explores the composition essence under the space interfaceappearance to create the relationship of participants and space rather than therelationship of the simple space and space. Based on the theory analysis, through the analysis and research of design cases,integration the elements to achieve space visual communication and organizationstreamline continued in the interior space, interface, display design, to form"culture synthesis" which has the value of historical and cultural. This paperintegrates the theoretical principle of form composition and the design expressionin interior design, summes up the art, human nature, context expression turn aboutdimensional structure elements in the interior space, interface, display design, anddiscusses the important role of composition form in interior space design. Ininterior design, composition can help to plan the space, narrate the interface,coordinate the display, and it provides a positive thought and method, which makesinterior design turned to a humanized, reasonable, harmonious and symbiosis spaceenvironment.
