| The ancient building is an important part of Chinese ancient civilization, it isalso a treasure of Chinese nation and architectural art of the world. The ancientbuildings have important cultural, historical, artistic and scientific value. Ancientbuilding is a witness to history and unparalleled. Damage to the ancient buildings isa huge loss and irreparable. Because of a long useful life and human damage, thestructure of the ancient buildings destroyed, stability and bearing capacity are alsogreatly reduced. In the process of urban subway construction, blasting excavation iseconomic method. The vibration brings a negative impact on the surroundingbuildings. Components of the ancient buildings are aging, so the stability andbearing capacity are poor. Blasting load of ancient buildings is not to beunderestimated. In the blasting excavation process to ensure the constructionprogress at the same time to protect the ancient buildings are problems to be solvedin the construction process.A finite element model for a four-story ancient masonry building which wasbuilt in1905was established based on Representative Volume Element. Finiteelement models for both the structure strengthened with scaffolding and thestrengthened one with sprayed concrete are established,and time-history analysisunder blasting load is performed. By comparing the different models of the cycle,acceleration, maximum displacement and wall stress analysis of the tworeinforcement methods for improving the dynamic performance of the ancientbuildings in blasting load. Studies have shown that sprayed concrete shared a lot ofprincipal tensile stress that let masonry wall avoid shear failure,and the walls and floors were restrained by sprayed concrete walls,transferred stress concentration of the walls, reduced the seismic stress ofmasonry walls. The scaffolding supporting the formation of the lateral force resisting system share the level of the wall load, reduces the deformation of thestructure, the vibration energy dissipation of the blasting process. The scaffoldingreinforcement are better than Sprayed concrete reinforcement in dynamic performance, italso has obvious advantages in terms of economic costs, the degree of difficulty ofconstruction, duration. Therefore, scaffolding reinforcement is more suitable for thereinforcement of the ancient building. |
