Study On Setting And Managing Of Chongqing Transit Station

With the rapid development of economic, the city has entered a stage of rapid development, private car ownership have increased, city traffic problems have been more and more serious. Therefore, the main measure to solve the traffic problems is developing public transit with priority at the present stage. As an important part of the public transport system, the transit station is an important place for bus to park,repair and maintenance, It guarantee the bus lines’normal operation and the waiting and boarding services for passengers. Setting reasonable and managing bus station is important to solve city traffic problems and facilitate residents’travel.On the basis of discussed the domestic and foreign bus station setup and management, this paper summarizes the bus stations classification, setting principles and requirements. It studies the development situation and constructs the growth model, which is based on the analysis of the present situation in the main urban areas of Chongqing city transit stations; this article forecasts the demand urban transit stations total scale and bus capacity development scale based on the supply and demand balance method.This paper puts forward the plans which are suitable for Chongqing city proper transit stations based on the location, layout of the hub station, the end of the first station, midway stops, maintenance field and parking lot. This paper also puts forward the system scientific management measures based on the planning, construction, operation and the development of the station should be adjust measures to local conditions,"traffic+business" mode.This paper systematically analyses the Chongqing city bus station setup and management. It also provides certain theory basis for the urban bus stations layout, and enhances comprehensive management ability for the yard resources.
