With the development of science and technology,and social progress,it brings manymaterial comforts and living facilities to people,while some new problems are emergingat the sometime, such as "traffic problems".The development of ITS is a necessarymeans to solve the traffic problems,The real-time signal control at the complexintersections is also as an important part of ITS,is the key to solve the"traffic problems".Firstly,analysis the composition of the complex intersections and the shape of eachintersection,and then study the canalization,with the examples for canalizationverification,results show that after the canalization the plan is better.Secondly,analysis the principle of the real-time control at the complexintersections,then introduce the main part and the technology will be used.Again,analysis the existing several detectors,then estimate and predict the trafficflow with the collected traffic flow.Wavelet transform is used to multilayer decomposethe detected data by its characteristics,then use BP neural network optimized byadaptive genetic algorithm to study each subsequence,the final synthesis is the predictedtraffic flow, and then simulation,the simulation results show that,the proposed model isbetter and has more advantages compared with wavelet neural network method andneural network prediction based on wavelet analysis and genetic algorithmoptimization.Again,respectively standardize the average delay,average parking andcapacity,then combine each with the right value establish the mufti-target signalobjective function,and optimize the function with adaptive genetic algorithm,andsimulate with examples in MATLAB,the simulation results show that the proposedmulti-objective control method is better compared with the wester optimizationmethod..Lastly, use theoretical study to control the actual intersections,so designed thereal-time intelligent signal control system of the complex intersections,and edited thecorresponding system software,the simple instance is used to test.
