Reactive Powder Concrete (Reactive Powder Concrete, RPC for short) is the high strength and high performance Concrete, a mechanical properties, durability is very superior new building materials. RPC has high compressive strength and shearing strength, can use a thinner section in the structural design and innovative cross section shape, so that the weight is much lighter than ordinary concrete structure, the RPC material reduced the thickness of the interface transition zone and the scope, the decrease of the aggregate particle size, its probability of defects is reduced, the whole matrix of the defect is also reduced. RPC is very compact, low porosity, it can not only prevent leakage of radioactive material from the inside, and able to withstand external corrosion of corrosive medium, from the overall improve homogeneity, strength and durability of the system, thus greatly reducing the amount of stirrup and mechanical reinforcement, even can’t set the stirrup, and greatly reduce or exempt the maintenance costs, prolong the service life, therefore has the very high cost performance, to improve the earthquake resistant and impact resistant performance of structures. RPC material of high temperature resistance, fire resistance, and corrosion resistance is much higher than steel, RPC mixing content not only the liquidity is good, and good adhesiveness, in the process of transportation, pouring and tamping segregation phenomenon does not occur, in the narrow gaps within the template and reinforced through the performance good, don’t need vibration after pouring, RPC material has good environmental performance at the same time.RPC cover plate is made up of ordinary Portland cement, quartz sand, silica active material and mineral admixture, adding suitable amount of copper coated steel fiber was a new kind of high strength, high toughness and excellent durability of new concrete prefabricated components. Bridge of passenger dedicated line facilities more, the combination of all kinds of facilities to lay on the deck of the2nd phase dead load is heavier, the pavement plate as a bridge of passenger dedicated line inspection car mobile channel to the corresponding load, need to increase the height of cross section, gravity will also increase. Using RPC cover plate, can greatly reduce the deck of the second stage dead load, the durability of the bridge deck facilities. At the same time because of reactive powder concrete has high tensile strength, can ensure that in use process artifacts not cracking, good integrity, able to meet artifacts using performance and durability.Based on RPC mix proportion design and mechanics performance influence factors were studied. Determination of RPC specimens with different mixture ratio of compressive strength and flexural strength, and study the composition of the material mechanical properties of RPC mechanism, studies the RPC durability of the steel fiber content is1%, the resistance to chloride ion penetration and freezing-thawing resisting cycle test, in the chloride ion penetration test, on average, through the power only25c, satisfy the requirements of the cover plate is less than50c electric flux, and the freeze-thaw cycle after300time, dynamic elastic modulus and quality loss rate change rate is not greater than5%, satisfy the requirements of cover plate, RPC has good durability. When using the RPC as beijing-shanghai high-speed rail cover plate, for reasons of economy, recommended dosage of steel fibre was1%.
