Study On Space Structure And Its Adaptability Of Changchun City Square

The origin of the square can be tracked back before the city, its history goes beyond thecity. The prototype of the city square is derived from the place where the early mass ralliesand worship activities in Europe, while embodies the two elements of street and templefair in China. City square has never disappeared in the process of the formation anddevelopment of urban and presents different bearing capability along with the urbandevelopment in different periods. Entering the21st century, city square as an important part ofurban open space is the interrelated information hub of people to people and people to cityand is the oxygen to break the crowded city. Especially China has entered the aging society,this special group of the elderly put forward higher request for urban open space and the"public participation and communication" nature of group activities of city square plays animportant role in solving the problem of the elderly loneliness and promoting sustained andhealthy development of an ageing society.Changchun is the sample city in our country on city square construction, the developmentof the city square has a history of one hundred years. From the original traffic square inManTie period to the city square space pattern of giving priority to traffic square and leisuresquare as complement now, the space evolution of urban square witnessed the history ofChangchun development and is the epitome of the culture of Changchun.The article takespace structure of city square in Changchun as the research object from a macro perspective,first analyse the spatial evolution track of city square in Changchun taking history as thebreakthrough point to explore the particularity and the influence mechanism of city squaredevelopment in Changchun and seek the general rules of the city square development; afteranalyse the spatial structure characteristics of city square from current situation of city squarein Changchun and through the spatial analysis function of ArcGIS software to realize theadaptability analysis on city square and population, traffic in Changchun; Finally, put forwardthe adjusting strategy of city square in Changchun based on the above research results.This paper mainly divided into five parts:The first part: The introduction part, is the explaining of research content and mainlyincludes four points. First elaborates the research background,goal and significance, clear thereason of selected topic and the direction of research and affirm the value of the research;Secondly, define the main concept related to the study content; Once again, sum up theresearch progress related to the city square; Finally,elaborated the research plan of this paper,determine the research scope, research objects and research methods and gives the frameworkof the article. The second part: Vertically analyse the space structure of city square in Changchun from aview of history. According to constructing speed and in combination with the culturalbackground of urban square divide the space evolution of city square in Changchun intodifferent periods and analyse the evolution characteristics and evolution mechanism of spacestructure of city square.The third part: Detailedly analysie the current space structure of city square in Changchunand further analyse its overall characteristics by GIS.The forth part: Using GIS software analyse city square in Changchun from the two aspectsof population and transportation and study the appropriateness of city square in the city spacethrough the attributes join and overlay analysis of the city square and different elements.The fifth part: Put forward adjusting strategy of city square in Changchun according to thestudy results.
