Centrifugal atomizer is a rotating machinery that make the liquid into fog by it’s rotating centrifugal effect.The Atomization is rotating with a high speed driven by a motor,the liquid is accelerated by the Centrifugal force produced by the rotation of the atomizer.The surface of the liquid area has been greatly increased after the atomization,it is easier for the liquid to react with other media or mass to have an physical and heat transfer reaction.The diameter of the liquid can be required by the rotational speed of the atomizer,the minimum of the diameter can reach a level of micron grade.Currently the high-speed centrifugal atomizer is widely used in environmental protection, chemical industry and other fields.With the continuous development of waste incineration power generation process and people’s deepening understanding of the technology,Waste incineration power plant has been widely built all over the world.The application of the centrifugal atomizer also obtained a development in this field.High speed rotating centrifugal atomizer as the key part in the flue gas processing,It’s performance is directly affect the plant’s later invest.Even the popularity of the waste incineration power generation technology.It is the key part to decide whether the technology can meet the emissions targets of home or abroad.The existing centrifugal atomizer is almost using the belt drive form,Belt transmission’s characteristics are the long-distance transmission of the power and can be act as a buffer to suck up the vibration,Its accuracy of the manufacturing and transmission is not very high.But it needs greater tension to support its work,also can get the friction heat production between the pulley,even skid.These will affect the effect of the atomization and the service life of the atomizer.This paper design an atomizer directly connected by a coupling. Under the condition of existing advantages of the belt transmission,we Improve the the rotor’s stability at the high-speed to improve the service life and the atomizing effect of the atomizer.The main research content of this article are as follows:(1) Introduces the working principle of the centrifugal atomizer,According to the requirement of the atomizer design manual and empirical formula to determine the size of the atomizer. (2) Complete the2d assembly drawing of the atomizer, and3d assembly drawings of the rotor system.(3) Make an finite element analysis of the rotating subsystem using ANSYS, and calculate the critical speed of the atomizer to determine the working speed of the atomizer.(4) Determine the working speed, drive motor, the parameters of the bearing and coupling according to the need of the atomizer.(5) Make an CAE theory analysis and an atomization effect experiment in factory of the two kinds of driving form respectively, then compare the atomization effect of the two kinds of atomizer.Provides the theoretical and experimental basis for the future design of atomizer.
