The rapid development of high-speed railway can relieve railway transportation pressureeffectively, and the switch machine as one of the devices to ensure the safety of railwayoperation, its quality greatly affects the safety trains. At present, the daily maintenanceworkload of switch machines is too heavy, and the maintenance and repair can be appliedonly in the maintenance gap. The repair is still operated in the traditional way. The increasedmaintenance time will affect the operation efficiency of trains, while the microcomputermonitoring system that is generally used in our native switch monitoring equipment, doesn’thave enough information and can’t monitor real-time status of the switch machines. TheNO.62Chinese switch machines’ direct-track crossing speed has been350km/h, and theside-track crossing speed has reached220km/h.With such a high speed and density of thetrain operation, switch machines with high quality and stability are badly needed. If there isno effective real-time condition monitoring system and there is something wrong with theswitch machines, the consequence is terrible. So the high-speed railway requires that it is suchan urgency to improve the maintenance and repair techniques to meet theleaping-development of the modern railway.According to the problems mentioned above, the thesis focus on designing a set ofintelligent monitoring system in high-speed railway switch with the help of computertechnology, sensor technology, communication technology as well as database technology.First, the designing of system demand analysis, which stipulated the basic functions, workflow, switch status information of system monitoring, standard and principles of the systemdesigning. Second, formulate the communication protocols, which stipulates thecommunication methods, basic requirements of communication in each subsystem, datacontent, data stream and the ways to ensure the safety of data communication in detail. Third,select the hardware platform and the sensors in different monitoring point, establishing thestar type network structure of system operation, completing the layout of system softwarestructure as well as flow chart, system fault diagnosis is adopt expert system based on faulttree, programming code according to the system demand, hardware and communicationprotocols. The code is the soul of whole system, so the process of programming code shouldpay attention to the security and the robustness. Finally, debugging and processing the system,correcting the errors to be found in the debugging process, adjusting the system parametersaccording to the system testing result for improving the system safety performance.The intelligent monitoring system in high-speed railway switch, whose monitoringcontent is rich, can monitor the real-time condition of the switch machines, and has faultdiagnosis function, which locates the fault in time and obtains the failure causes. After debugging and processing, the system is able to monitor the real-time processingstate of the railway switch machines, collect the high accuracy data, diagnose the fault andsent out the alarm signal. The system function also has good scalability. Through testing, thedesign scheme has proved to be feasible and have practical applying values.
