The broadband spectrum analysis module is a signal digitized equipment based ontarget to achieve high speed&precision wideband IF signal acquisition, digital real-timespectrum analysis, mass storage and transmission, which used to capture theinstantaneous complex signals, the battlefield electromagnetic signals and other fastelectronic signals. Combined with COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) product designideas, the structure of a6U CPCI carrier board additional FMC daughter board canimprove the scalability of the module.Firstly, the thesis analyzes module overall scheme according to the designrequirements, including the structure and hardware solutions. Descrip furtherlydesigning details on the each modular of the hardware system, including high speed&precision acquisition, digital IF processing, mass storage, optical transceiver, and soon. The thesis put forward broadband signal spectrum analysis processing programbased on combination of digital IF processing digital down conversion, channelization,decimation filter and FFT signal processing technology. Broadband spectrum of theinput signal is divided into several sub-bands and down convered each sub-band signalto baseband; Then, respectively each of the baseband signal convert the correspondingsub-band of frequency domain data according to FFT transform, and output the entirespectrum of the input signal information by synthesizing frequency-domain data for allsub-bands in accordance with a certain splicing. The digital IF processing sectionachieve in the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). Evolve an efficient and flexible“weighted overlap-add “structure from the traditional IF processing architecture basedon the structural characteristics of FPGA parallel processing.This thesis explains the system hardware design and spectrum analysis program, aswell details of the modular design specific process and digital IF processing logic circuitdesign. According to the the module spectrum analysis approach, combination thenumber of channels and zoom technology can resolution bandwidth stalls adjustment.The control logic is the central nervous system, which ensure the module accurate andreliable response to user actions, and which is introducted detailly in this article. Finally, the thesis shows core unit test results and test results of the whole work, then theexperimental results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of each module design.
