| As one of the most widely used instrument,digital multimeter plays an importantpart in test field. Compared to analog multimeter, digital multimeter has many merits,such as high precision, high speed, accurate readings, anti-interference ability and highautomatic degree. In recent years, LXI test bus technique develops quickly. Byemploying Ethernet, web browser and IVI drivers, the LXI bus based test system can beeasily constructed and configured, with more efficient and lower-cost.Recently, the overseas technology of LXI multimeter is quite mature. In order tosatisfy the demand of domestic market and promote the development of domestictechnological upgrading of LXI test bus technique, the5.5digit Class-B table modelLXI multimeter has been developed. The designed table LXI multimeter is withMan-machine interface. On the other hand, this LXI multimeter is Class-B instrument,and it provides the network control function and meets the LXI version1.3.In this dissertation, the software structure of Class-B LXI multimeter is studied.The main contributions are as follows:1. The man-machine interface program running on embedded system board isdeveloped. Besides of the basic measuring function, the designed local program canalso provide some additional functions, such as one-shot trigger, maintain readingnumbers, mathematical operation and synchronous display.2. C/S (client/server) network control program running on PC is developed.Opening C/S interface function, timing trigger function, LAN trigger function and datacalibration function are implemented by control program.3. IVI driver program is developed. IVI driver encapsulates and analyses the SCPIinstruction. Due to the usage of IVI driver, C/S control program is with compatibilityand flexibility. In order to meet the requirement of instrument, some additionaluser-defined IVI functions are introduced.LXI multimeter successfully achieved accurate measurements, functional, easy tooperate, and comply with LXI B-class instrument standards. Instrument software,network control software and IVI driver access function is detailed, and finally, the testing results achieve expected Indicators. |
