ADS-B based on mode S is a new kind of navigation monitoring technology innew navigation system recommended by ICAO,and a revolutionary technology in thefield of air traffic monitoring.With the continuous development of civil aviation,theyput forward higher requirements about capacity and coverage in Wirelesscommunication system and the reliability of the data.the1090MHz ES based on mode sdata link is one of the technology in ADS-B.Compared with the traditionalsurveillance radar,the system of ADS-B based on the mode of the1090MHz ES havethe superiority in the low cost of development and installation,small detection error,thewide of monitoring range.Therefore,the reseach of ADS_B based on mode s havefar-reaching significance for Air traffic control system.This thesis mainly analyze the module of transmitter, receiver, digital decode boardof ADS_B system based on mode s, describe in detail about the related algorithm in thepart of digital baseband. Digital baseband mainly used to implement the detection offrame head, extraction of bit and confidence analysis, error correction, error detection,interface control, aviation bus in transceiver and receiver, etc.First, the thesis use matlabto simulate the coding and decoding algorithm, the results show that this algorithm candecode ADS_B data correctly.And then, the thesis realize the receiver and transceiversystem of ADS_B in the hardware platform.The main work is as follows:1.DO the further understanding and analysis of ADS-B system based on mode S.2.Simulate digital decoding algorithms using mat lab.3.Realize the ADS_B system based on mode S in the hardware platform. In theprocess of implementation, the thesis constantly verifuy the function of code,optimizethe code after finding the error and improve the Performance of the system.4.Firstly, the thesis realize the decoding function of ADS_B and then implementthe ability of ADS-B system sending data, and the last conduct the test of thereceiving and sending.5.DO the outfield experiments,and build the experiment platform,use the system of ADS-B to receive the data which is send by the aerial target and decode it,and thendisplay the track in the display software.The experimental results show that,the ADS_B system based on mode s which isdesigned accoring to the article have the better performance.It can decode effectivelyand send the message through the transmitter according to the standard format ofADS-B, and achieve the effect of receiving and sending.
