Along with the rapid development of computer, electronic technology, aswell as emission regulations’ being stricter, EFI became an inexorable trend ingasoline generator area as it’s good emission consistency. And while gasolinegenerator equipped EFI system, it gave a good platform to electronic speed regulator.In this paper, the study was based on FAI EFI gasoline generator, and to developedemission and speed control system which could reduce the emission to the level ofEPAIII and stable speed as regulated in the GB/T2820.5-2009.This paper analyzed emission formation factors and influencing factors.Combined those factors with current study situations, a λ control strategy was putforward which used to reduce emission. This paper, as well, analyzed the speedfluctuation and oscillation. Based on these causation, an combined controlstrategies was raised which consisted of ignition phase control, PID and the currentfast regulation control which used to stable speed in steady state and transient state.Introducing ignition phase control was to stable steady speed, as well as the PIDcontrol algorithm and current fast regulation algorithm was to control transientspeed.This paper concretely presented the emissions and speed control system. Thehardware of this control system consisted of current detection, TPS detection, angledetection, injector driving, motor drive, ignition driving. The software consisted ofspeed computing, injection pulse width searching, PID control algorithm, ignitionphase calculating and current fast regulation algorithm.Through emission experiment with Lambda tester and CVS exhaust emissionstester, it would gave a result with the relationship between lambda and emission at thepercentage of0%,10%,25%,50%,75%and100%of Rated power using. Withanalysis of the result, an optimum λ control target would be concluded which couldreduce emission to the level of EPAIII. Comparative test with all kinds λ control target, it reached a conclusion that theoretic λ control target was the best to reduceemission than others. In the part of speed-control, lots of experiment with differentparameters arrived at a set of control algorithm which would stable speed in thesteady state and cost less adjustment time, have smaller speed-drop in transient state.
