In the construction of highway asphalt pavement in China, it is generally usethe anti-rutting performance of the monolayer asphalt mixture to evaluate theanti-rutting performance of the asphalt pavement structure, while, the asphaltpavement, which is constituted by the asphalt mixture that meets the standardrequirements of the pavement performance, still turns up the rut disease, then, wewould like to give the conclusion that monolayer material could not well reflect theanti-rutting performance of the actual asphalt pavement structure. In this paper, it willfocus on the anti-rutting performance of the asphalt layer structure and position tostudy the dynamic stability relationship of the structure and position.Firstly, the rut test program of studying relationship of dynamic stability betweenthe structure (full thickness specimen) and material (single specimen) has beenProposed, carries out rutting test research on the single layer asphalt mixture using therut tester that is variable speed, variable load as well as thickening and thetemperature gradient control system, and then compares and analyzes the fluctuationstrend, changing as the test-piece’s thickness various, of dynamic stability of differentstructure and material.Secondly, the relational expression of dynamic stability between asphalt surfacestructure and surface layer by analyzing the difference between the full thicknessstructure and single layer test-spice under the condition of stress and temperaturefield, formatting the relationship of dynamic stability between structure and materialand providing the retrogression treatment of combined data (dynamic stability) ofasphalt surface structure and surface layer.Finally, the setting structure dynamic stability into various surface layercombinations has been decomposed by applying the dynamic stability relationalexpression between asphalt surface structure and surface layer studied above andanalyze the pros and cons of different combination scheme from the following aspects,anti-rutting performance, crack resistance and economy..
