Skew girder bridges commonly used in small and medium-span bridges。In China, due to the limitations of the research level, skew girder bridges apply late。After70years of the20th century, our country had built some skew hollow slab bridges, but most were constructed by overall cast-in-place, and did not set a bearing or simple linoleum bearing, the slope was not large。With China’s rapid economic development and modernization of the urban road network, road grade are gradually improved, and skew bridge study of theory develop continually, the construction of skew bridges have entered a new stage。The mechanical properties of skew girder bridges due to the slope。Firstly the paper introduces the overviews and some mechanical characteristics of skew girder bridges, describes the method of internal force and the basic principle of mesh subdivision by grillage simulation to establish numerical model。For the number and location of setting beams in skew girder bridges, the scholars and designers in domestic and foreign have different views, especially the number and location in setting beams。In the actual projects, usually set1-5root beams in the bridges。Customarily beams perpendicular to the stringers, also beams skew to stringers。The reasonable Lateral stiffness of skew girder bridges, is focus content in this paper。Firstly analysis a skew girder bridge that in a standard span, when is acted on dead load, use finite element software named Midas/civil, and consider skew girder bridge at0°,15°,30°,45°and60°that six kinds of slope, by changing the number of beams, which is changed from one to six, and establish30grillage models, then analysis the skew girder bridge’s internal force and impact when is acted under dead load and different numbers of beams、different slope。Then definite a reasonable the numbers of beams, that reasonable Lateral stiffness。For analysis the impact of skew girder bridge’s inner force that under live load and different lateral stiffness, Take a skew girder bridge that the slope is30°、the span is30metre for example, when the skew girder bridge is acted by concentrated loads, by set the beams perpendicular to the stringers or beams skew to stringers this two ways, change the number and position of the medial beams and Lateral stiffness, analyze the influence in midspan of the skew girder bridge’s internal forces。To compare and analysis the trend of internal forces and transverse distribution which is under live loads, set the number of reasonable Lateral beams, and provide some meaningful suggestions for future design and engineering practice。...
