There is a very common phenomenon that cracks emerge in navigation-power junctionpier.Some cracks seriously impact on the stability of the pier, such as cross-cutting cracks、deep fracture.The reason of cracks arising causes is very complex. The crack causes morecomplex, there may be formed as a certain reasons or it may be due to a variety of integratedof causes.The main reason may be reinforced inadequate、temperature stress、the gate thrust.This paper uesed Zhuzhou Navigation and Hydropower25#spillway section side pier asthe actual object of study, Through to establish dam three-dimensional finite element model toinvestigate the causes of crack.From the calculation results can be analyzed, in the case ofnormal operation of the work stress does not cause the pier of crack, the pouring temperaturestress may be the most important reason for the crack in pier.Then starting from the crack of the model to create a three-dimensional reinforcedconcrete nonlinear finite element model,using double nodes to simulate containing crack Piermode.Analyzing with the impact of two models that crack pier model without reinforcedimpact and contain reinforced, and getting finite element calculation from two waterlevel.Then examine whether it is necessary to reinforce the pier in the crack of strengthperspective.Calculation results can be drawn in the dorsal surface crack persists tensile stressconcentration, there are certain trends in this crack.So there is a considerable impact on thesecurity of the pier by crack.It is very necessary to reinforce Zhuzhou Navigation andHydropower25#spillway section side pier.Finally, to research reinforced way,the solution adopt prestressed anchor for the programand paste the steel reinforcement.Combined to three points Whether facilitate construction、the amount of project consumption and finite element calculations.It is not obvious aboutprestressed anchor program for improvement of the cracks at the stress,however,Using pastesteel plate program can effectively control the crack at stress and the stress distribution at thecrack,then ensured the normal operation of the Zhuzhou Navigation and HydropowerOverflow Section25#side pier.
