The Application Research Of Hand-painted, Clay Models, ATOS Optical Measurement Based On The Product Development Process

Although aideddesign based on computer, like CAD/CAM/CAE, employs advancedparametric modeling design system, so that the product design can becompleted from sketch to model’s formation on the computer design platformmaking the modern products design to achieve considerable accuracy andstandardization, and together with computer-aided manufacturing, rapidprototyping and CNC machining, they become an indispensable part of modernproduct design, three methods described and research in this article will continueto heritage and develop in the future for a long period of time, and they are notcompletely replaced technology in modern computer technology. Due to thecompetition of the market, consumers reflect the personalized lifestyle andincreasingly high demand for personalized products,which requires the designerto foster accurate understanding and judgment according to the market demandand consumer psychology, to improve existing motorcycle products and torespond quickly to the development of new products, then constantly makecomparison, analysis and innovation in the motorcycle design process. In theearly stage of the product design, they need to produce a model to study andexplore, and in the design process, the structural characteristics and functions ofthe product have to be improved, constantly parsing product morphology,function, structure and other elements. Performing the design intent, graspingtargeting direction of the product design, so that they can provide effective andreliable basis for the new products into production.This article researches systematically only from the industrial modeling designlevel of hand-painted, clay model, ATOS optical measurement method,comparing the above three to "Three Musketeers" in product modeling design.The essay focus on combing of ideas and design process in the research and development of product modeling design, and analyzing its hand-painted, claymodel, and ATOS optical measurement method. Through participating inJincheng motorcycle development and design practice of the product modeling, Isum up their role to play in the development process, the inter-relationship, aswell as specific applications means, and provide an integrated research andanalysis to the power of "The Three Musketeers". So the paper has theoriginality.
