With the rapid economic development of China’s urban and constant expansion.Inner city middle and long distance traffic travel is growing rapidly. The traffic load ofurban roads network is also growing. Urban arterial nodes surrounding the high densitydevelopment produce a large flow of traffic import and have had a serious impact for thenormal operation of the trunk road traffic. The import traffic roads at the access pointgradually evolved to become the bottleneck of the city roads traffic jams. To ensure urbanarterial transport system can give full play to the effect and avoid urban arterial accesstraffic on the road running serious congestion, In this paper, a systematic study of accesspoints on urban arterial traffic demand and operation control technology, By controllingtraffic generation and operational requirements of the access point to reduce the trafficpressure、improve urban arterial efficiency of the system and ease the roads trafficcongestion.Based on the principle of balance between demand and supply capacity of urbanarterial network. To avoid import access point traffic serious exceeds its capacity andformed the roads traffic bottlenecks and congestion occurs. Paper regulate access to theaccess point traffic demand from macro, control the access point traffic import formmicroscopic. Through the establishment of roads balance assignment model and accessthe traffic model to determine coordinated control objectives and constraints. to achieveRegulate traffic to generate demand and control access needs integration research. Atthe macro level build the traffic demand model based on land use and the differencebetween the rate mode lin access point within the affected areas. To analyzedcoordination of regional traffic demand and use traffic demand control idea to adjust theregional land development intensity. At the micro level combined bottleneck recognitiontechnology recognition roads access point bottleneck.Use choke point traffic controltechnology and along the access point group coordination and control technology tocontrol the access point traffic operational requirements and the running order andresearch the corresponding signal timing. Finally article make Chongqing Guan yinbridge Ring Road as the instance to effect the proposed method and system feasibility、practicality、reasonableness verified.
