Concrete-filled steel tubular frame pier is a new designed structure which iscombined advantages of concrete-filled steel tube structure and frame structure. Itfounds that CFST frame pier has a good seismic performance and impact resistance.Now there is little study on seismic response for CFST frame pier, especially researchon CFST frame pier with damper. This article researches the damper effect of seismicresponse for concrete-filled steel frame high pier, and related parameters on theshocking absorbing effect is also discussed.The thesis studies the following:1. Taking frame pier as research object, calculate and compare the earthquakeresponse for the frame pier with common brace and damper brace, and discuss thedamper shocking absorption effect when applied damper on the frame pier;2. Analyzing main parameters of damper, such as speed index, dampingcoefficient, and initial yield of friction damper, and obtain the rules of values;3. Taking different earthquake waves to analysis the damper shocking absorptioneffect, and discuss the effect of site condition on the damping effect of damper;4.Comparing the effect of seismic response for CFST frame pier under differentdamper decorate form, and discuss the effect of seismic response for CFST frame pierunder different damper decorate form;5. Comparing the seismic response of CFST frame pier in the different height,and study the effect of damper in the frame pier with different height.6. Comparing the seismic response of frame pier with damper under inputtingthree direction earthquake wave, and the effect of damper is studied.
