A system for optimizing the performance of human-machine interaction for theship-board infrared radiometer is designed, by using the touch screen and LCDscreen. The system also integrates a data storage module based on USB flash. Thedata storage module is used to backup the measurements data and GPS data..The human-machine module is implemented by dividing it into data display partand touch screen control part. The data display part can switch the raw data displayand the key information display by touching the corresponding command on screen. In touch screen controlling part, a brief interface is designed to control the infraredradiometer. The data storage module includes the radiometer data backup and GPSdata storage functions. These two functions are similar in principle, so t theimplementation process of the backup of the radiometer data is introduced mainly. Areal time clock (RTC) calendar is implemented through the RTC module of thecontrol chip which is used to get the real time and add it on the head of each datarecord. The STMicroelectronics STM32F103series microcontroller is used in thesystem, which is based ARM’s Cortex-M3core as the control chip, using a72Mhzfrequency clock, It fully meets the design requirements of the system. Data receivingmodule is designed to be double buffer mechanism which is implemented by USARTmodule and DMA module of the microcontroller. The data received by data receivingmodule is processed and written to USB disk through a file manage chip CH376,while the data processed is show on a7’TFT LCD screen by the LCD driving chipSSD1963. The touch-screen control module transfers the location coordinate sampledby the ADS7843chip into corresponding control command, and send it to the infrared radiometer by USART.The system reached the objectives of the design though testing. The performanceof human-machine interaction of the infrared radiometer is improved and the safety ofradiometer data is strengthened.
