Analysis On Morphology Of Collective Hamlet And Popular Residences On Lianghu Village In Chunan Country

Chunan prefecture, which has a long history, strong geographical feature and distinct characteristics, is the largest prefecture in Zhejiang Province. As the representative of its unique culture and architectural glamour is the dotted rural settlement. This paper will take the example of Lang Chuan Township Qin Chuan ancient village as a typical case.Ancient villages Qin Chuan, which has been named as the third provincial historical and cultural towns and villages in Zhejiang Province, are a combination of natural environment, Water Street and Commercial Road with more than700years of historical heritages. As the best study case of Chunan County regional culture, the research value is embodied in the profound of cultural heritage, complete of settlements, rich-types of architectures and other aspects. This paper utilizes field research and research methods combined with theoretical analysis to analyses and discuss in depth in the area of history and residence, morphological characteristics, structure and layout, spatial organizations. According to aforesaid theoretical and empirical analysis, this paper will put forward some effective methods and recommendations related to the development and protection of the settlements. It also could be as the reference material for the technology research and practice of our traditional settlement planning.
