Research On The Development Of Regional Urban Integration And Urban Cohesion In China

The rapid development of economy can promote the relation between differentcities more and more closely, especially adjacent cities. Regional Urban Integrationcan solve the problems which caused by Chasing their own interests effectively suchas repeat construction, malignant competition. This paper hopes to provide a new pathfor city development by in-depth analysis the problem of Urban Integration.This dissertation is divided into five parts. The content of chapter one is basictheory research which includes the concept of Urban integration, analyzing theresearch status from domestic and abroad, and summary of the basic theory; Thecontent of chapter two is analyzing the background of the Urban Integration from theangle of city and regional; From the analysis of chapter three, we can come to that thedynamic mechanism of Urban Integration includes promoting resources and industrialintegration, enhancing the regional competitiveness, promoting harmoniousdevelopment among different cities, breaking through the environmental constraintand realizing urban spatial expansion; Chapter four discussed four main pattern ofUrban Integration in China systematically, and separately analysis with example; Thelast chapter analyzes Urban Cohesion which is the In-depth form of Urban Integrationand with the example of Guangzhou and Foshan; on the base of implementationconstruction of Urban Cohesion, this paper points out the barriers and constructionmethods of Urban Cohesion.
