The track will vibrate when the railway vehicle run on the track, in return, the vibration of track also increase and effect the vehicle’s vibration at the same. This interaction between vehicle and trick is called vehicle-track coupling, and the vibration caused by the coupling is called vehicle-track coupling vibration. Influencing factors in this coupling vibration are variety and complexity, thus, for investigating the coupling system, so assumptions and abstracts will be made to build an analytical model which includes the main factors and ignore the unimportant.In the paper, the vehicle-track coupling vibration is vertical. The analytical model is divided to vehicle model, track model and the wheel-rail model. The vibration equations for vehicle model and track model are created respectively, then coupled into a matrix equation by the wheel-rail model which described by Hertz nonlinear contact theory. A new time integral method with adaptive step size is presented after the Newmark-β Predictor-Corrector method. The method is more effective than the old one. The calculation procedure is written in MATALB. In additional, the human machine interface of vehicle-track simulation model is developed in GUI. At last, the mathematical method is verified by comparing the simulation result and experimental result, in the case of the vehicle passing a rail joint. In this paper, the author investigates the different influencers for the vehicle-track coupling vibration, and obtains many useful conclusions.
