Research content of this paper depends on Wuchuan-sha hydropower station (RCChyperbolic arch dam) in Guizhou province,makes three dimensional numerical analysis ontemperature-stress field in operating period of Wuchuan-sha dam using the internationallarge-general finite element software ANSYS,combined with the design information and theresults of elastic modulus,do the stability calculation of dam runtime,put forward thecomments and suggestions about dam partition on this basis,and do the stability calculationafter the dam partition by ANSYS,come to the partition law which is conducive to the damstable.This paper focused on the following:(1)According to the design information,analyzed the general layout and structure ofWuchuan-sha arch and so on,determined relevant parameters about numerical simulation ofarch dam,established numerical simulation model,calculate the stress and deformation of thearch dam at runtime in selected conditions. analyze distribution of stress and displacement,put forward the comments and suggestions about dam partition on this basis,design manydifferent partitioning schemes about material,do the stability calculation after the dampartition,comparative analysis of stress and displacement results of the dam,come to thepartition law which is conducive to the dam stable.(2)For Wuchuan-sha dam,using optimization of the function by ANSYS,compile thedocuments analyzed by APDL language,put elastic modulus of each partition as the designvariables,the maximum tensile stress of the dam as the objective function,other conditions asthe state variable,do optimal solution in ANSYS,To draw the optimal elastic modulus valueof each partition through iterative calculation.(3)Put Wuchuan-sha RCC arch dam as the object of study,establish numerical modelof arch and foundation,divide dam foundation into two parts,Assumes the elastic modulus ofdam foundation as variable,apply ANSYS to calculate and analyze,draw influence to damstress by the elastic modulus of dam foundation,provides reference value to determine theelastic modulus in arch dam design. Essentially,in this paper the subjects were Wuchuan-sha RCC arch dam,to do partionanalysis about this dam,put forward some partitioning schemes,calculates elastic modulus ofeach area by ANSYS and analyzes the influence to dam stress by elastic modulus of the damfoundation, offer the value of reference for design of materials division in practicalengineering.
