Electricity is closely related to people’s production, life, and the national econo-my. The security and stability of the power supply is the key of the power. Grid mo-nitoring system plays an important role in power supply reliability, power quality, p-ower service and management. The communication of power grid monitoring provi-des a platform for terminal unit and the central station to exchange monitoring data. Itensures the security of the power supply and increasing the flexibility of power man-agement.This paper has a detailed analysis the function and demand of On-line monitoringsystem of grounding. This paper designs a new on-line structure of monitoring systemof grounding. It includes the data acquisition unit, monitoring center station andwireless data communication network. Wireless communication network implementshigh efficiency, multi-function, high precision data transmission of the on-linemonitoring system of grounding.In this paper, it researches and analysis data transmission protocols of the powerload management system, formulated the communication protocols of on-line moni-toring system for grounding. The protocol is suitable for data acquisition terminal andmonitoring center station for data transmission. The protocol improves the communic-ation rate. It also suit for point to point, a pair of more and more lines of communica-tion.Grounding monitoring system is to implement the real-time, synchronous data ex-change and communication system. The system via a sensor quickly collected all kin-ds of data, and then by the underlying embedded hardware platform directly to comp-lete the data exchange, organization and communication. The center server is only forthe final data for recording and analysis. Data acquisition terminal with high perform-ance S3C6410chip, combined with the peripheral circuit of data acquisition terminalplatform. Processing data of the platform has a good synchronization, high precisionand extremely small error. It ensures the safety of power transmission, reliable, andsmall effect of its data processing to the original data. So it ensures the data accuracyof all kinds of high speed sensors.
