Wireless Networked Energy Meter With Integrated Management System

With the development of science and technology, the Internet of things technology has been used in various industries. In the field of energy acquisition, wireless and networking has become a trend. With the increasing shortage of global energy, as well as the building needs of energy-saving society, how to be more effective and reasonable acquisition the electricity information as well as the management of the electrical appliances has been put on the agenda. Under this background, this paper developed a wireless networked energy meter and integrated management system with active energy control function.The system is mainly composed by smart meter, environmental monitoring terminal, micropower sensor network, GPRS/GSM remote data transmission, and integrated management software and other hardware and software parts. The smart meter not only to meet the requirements of high-class measurement system (AMI) of the smart grid; but also could accept and execute instructions, to operate the corresponding relay, to achieve the control function of electricity supply of the users, in order to achieve the initiative energy-saving control. Follow the design idea of low-cost, low power consumption, the system combines the two kinds of wireless data transmission technology:ZigBee wireless sensor network and GPRS/GSM; play the advantages of low cost of ZigBee technology and long-distance of GPRS/GSM. The PC monitoring and management software based SQL Server2000and Delphi7is easy to operate, feature-rich, stable operation and strong portability advantages; not only could collect the data of energy meter terminal real-time, and control any terminal relay group. In addition, the electrical environment monitoring terminal is used for detecting electricity environment of users, and provide a reference for the integrated control; determine whether the electricity power of users is normal or not according to the indoor temperature and personnel information, as the basis of the electric power supply.The the whole system is running well, realized the functions of wireless network meter reading and integrated management, as well as energy-saving control, meet the standards energy meter accuracy.
