Study On Landscape Renewal And Design Of Railway Wasteland Of The City

The railway wasteland of the city was the transportation artery in the old days,carried the historical succession in the social times,carved people’s memories of the production and livehood,witnessed prosperous and decline of the cartwheel.The railway wasteland of the city have the vital historical significance and humanistic value.lt was the important wealth of civilization progress,the people shoule pay enough attention and cherish to it.The progress of the urbanization、adjustment of the industrial srructure and the technology upgrading made the railway wasteland become the new target of the transformation and renovation for the people. With the rise of the new construction,a series of questions related to the program’s updation of the design increasingly apparent.On the base of this kind of background carried out some research.With the summarize of overseas and domestic research status combined with the investigation,the study mainly developed as the follo wings:(1) By means of analysing the related notion of wasteland、landscape and landscape regeneration come up with the definition between the railway wasteland of the city and the landscape of the railway wasteland of the city.Combine the screening and understanding of the related theoretical basis developed the expounding and analysis of overseas and domestic research(place extra emphasis on the railway wasteland).(2)On the basis of full investigation bonded with related documentations,the summarization of the problems for the railway wasteland of the city and the design of landscape regeneration were as followings:the study divided the types of the railway wasteland from functional spaces、 building height、transport properties、railway numbers and road network’s arttribution;the study excavated the connotation of the landscape of the railway wasteland、social history、ecology and civilization;the study divided the components of the railway wasteland into the noumenon landscape、subsidiary landscape and the environmental landscape,at the same time the study expounded and analysed of them in detail;at last the study analysed industrial distinctive、 ecological vulnerability etc. five main characteristics.(3) The study systematic researched the landscape regeneration and design of the railway wasteland,mainly involved basical principles、planning ideas、planning procedures、the construction of the update design patterns、the main points of the update design and safeguard measures etc. various contents.(4) Among the research of the update design of railway wasteland,the study mainly placed an emphasis on the construction of the patterns, involved three patterns on the basis of large scale(regional coordinated travel patterns、creative industrial cluster patterns、multiple Comprehensive development patterns);involved four patterns on the basis of mesoscale(city park welfare patterns、scenic spots tourism patterns、history exhibition patterns、commercial walkable street patterns);involved two patterns on the basis of small scale(real individual utilize patterns、 refined elements of art patterns).The study come up with the update design patterns of railway wasteland of the typical "green type".(5) The study conducted the empirical study with an example to the Cultural Railway Park of Xiamen.lt analysed the main problems in the processing of the update design through the investigation and comparison before and after the reformation.At the same time come up with the purposeful methods and technology of it. Consequently,it would provide theoretical reference and practical guidance for the development of the similar projects in the future.
