In recent years, with the continuous development of the economic in china and the needs of the construction industry, people expect much from comfort and practicality of residential buildings, while promoting the reinforcement and renovation of buildings with further development of the industry. Currently the bearing capacity and seismic performance of many buildings and structures that have been used for decades has reduced. We should reinforced the main stress components of the old buildings when building new variety of structures, the reinforcement of concrete structure is one of the most widely used structures, concrete structures reinforcement about50%above. Currently, the study of the reinforced concrete component with wing wall is rarely, the reinforcement method with wing wall is a new method in recent years. The paper studies the behavior of the reinforced concrete column with wing wall under low-cyclic horizontal load. For the reinforcement in reinforced concrete column, many studies have focused on the components under the primary loading. In order to further study that the reinforcement method of wing wall, the paper has a contrastive analysis of the behavior of wing-wall RC column form considering the primary loading and the second loading. Through analysis by a large number of engineering examples. There are many factors which cause the destroy of columns, such as shear span ratio, axial compression ratio, the shape of column and the size of wing walls and so on. In order to give a full play to wing wall, therefore the seismic capacity of the column is developed to the largest limit. The paper made a static elastic-plastic analysis on the reinforced concrete columns with wing wall through ABAQUS FEA software. In this paper, the parameters considered its own influencing factors such as axial compression ratio, the length and thickness of wing wall. The major work of this article is divided into in two areas:One hand is on the primary loading, the article made an analysis about the reinforcement reinforced concrete columns with wing wall in different parametric (axial compression ratio, thickness and length of wing wall) under low-cyclic horizontal load. The paper has the analysis of seismic performance of reinforced concrete columns by specimens of hysteretic and skeleton curves, and explores the effects of various parametric on the behaviors of column, on the other hand is on the secondary loading, the article made an analysis about the reinforcement reinforced concrete columns with wing wall in different parametric (axial compression ratio, thickness and length of wing wall) under low-cyclic horizontal load. The paper has the analysis of reinforced columns under various parametric stiffness, ductility, seismic capacity. Under two different stress conditions, through contrasting the bearing capacity (stiffness, ductility, seismic performance) of columns, the paper makes conclusions and make recommendations. It makes a good foundation for the further study on the seismic performance of reinforced concrete structure in the future.
