The support of soft soil building pit is complex and danger because the deep destroy of soft soil pit. This article does lots of study on soft soil like laboratory test and in situ tests. After test data analysis, we find that the diversity of soft soil samples is large. Here the article analyzes the diversity from the micro aspect. The conclusions of test offer the reference for kinds of civil engineering.On the base of test data, we build the FLAC model to simulate the soft soil building pit support. Four model are built in the article like4meter soil replacement,7meters replacement,11meters replacement. The result of simulations is that when the replacements area reach7meters, the failure model of pit changes from deep failure to shallow layer failure. The results provide the reference for replacements method in building pit support.Finally, the soil replacements method is used in coastal area with deep backfill, the monitor data of building pit shows that the soil replacement method was used successfully in Qingdao coastal soft building pit with deep backfill. This article shows the new support method for coastal soft soil building pit with deep backfill.
