| Frame of the chassis system is one of the key components in the heavy_duty vehicle, commonly known as the "backbone". Heavy_duty vehicle are generally left, right of two side beams and a number of crossbeams by riveting or screwed into the frame structure. While the side beam were known as the "backbone" of the frame.Based on the heavy_duty vehicle side beam as the object of study, the article comparatively studied the domestic and foreign different types of side beams, analysis of various types of beam structure and its processing technology, summarized the advantages and disadvantages of machining process according to the machining efficiency and the equipment factors. Through the analysis of the characteristics of side beams, we developed the beam processing technology by dies according to its production volume, complex shape, holes pattern features. We make use of3D software to design the mold, and adopt the local forerunner’s equipment and transform craft to product the beam. Mold manufacturing is completed according to the plan proved, and then we proved the dies size and structure in the static mode, the cooperate degree between the machine and die in the dynamic mode, the size precision of the beam. After the meeting the processing requirements, we also proved the capacity in small batch production, processing efficiency. The dies achieve the best state by the continuous exploration and improvements, processed the best products, and meet the requirement of mass production. Finally we summarized the processing method, and the advantages and disadvantages of factors, combined with the company’s production structure and principle, reasonable layout, process optimization, make all sorts of resources to achieve the maximization of the use of my factory. At the same time, we solved the difficult problem of side beam machining, and applied to the side beam machining in the actual production, development for the company to create the greatest value. |
