The "Archi-Haptic"

It is only ten years since the "Haptic" became a new research topic in the field of design. This topic, which influence people’s purpose of emotions and behaviors through the tactile feeling design. This dissertation was based on the theories of architecture, praxiology, psychology, cultural anthropology and aesthetics etc, introduced the concept of "Haptic" into architectural cognition and design, and put forward the concept of "Archi-Haptic". The idea of re-recognizing the architectural environment was proposed into this dissertation, and paid more attention on people’s physical requirements in details in order to enhance our quality of life, to satisfy people’s psychological requests perfectly, and to show our humanistic care and aesthetics of haptic. In the meantime, based on the investigation and research of the intention of "Archi-Haptic", to analyzed its fundamental principle, application and evaluation."Archi-Haptic" has blended the buildings into people’s life and created close relationships between people and buildings by its exquisite design emotion. It guided the systematic life and behavior patterns and implemented the whole culture system a continuate future. It also made people participate in the architectural aesthetic and achieved an interaction between building environment and people, which supported by the feedback of human behavior and sense. The evaluation of "Archi-Haptic" was based on the physiological needs of people in this environment. The spiritual pursuit was different due to the different feature of people. This dissertation has took the vision disordered people, children and older people as example, analyzed the different "Archi-Haptic" design strategy to different groups.
