The Study Of Rural Passenger Traffic Under The Background Of New Countryside

In recent years,＂three rural issues＂has been paid more attention, especially after the newrural construction is put forward. Rural economy has a rapid development which promotes thedevelopment of the rural passenger transport. The new goal of rural construction put forward newrequirements to rural passenger transport. How to realize the reasonable development of ruralpassenger transport under the background of new countryside and improve travel efficiency andservice level is one of the main content to research passenger traffic. This thesis has studied therural passenger transport in the new countryside from following aspect.Firstly, introducing the demand of the new rural construction and the status quo of ruralpassenger transport summed up the definition of the rural passenger transport. Analyzing thetravel characteristics of rural residents from travel purpose, travel mode, travel frequency, travelspace and travel consumption five aspects Summarizing characteristic of time distribution, spatialdistribution and concentration distribution of rural passenger flow.Secondly, this paper expounded the connotation and main feature of the new ruralconstruction, analyzed the demands on the rural passenger transport under the background of newcountryside. The constitute of passenger transport system was introduced, Analyzing thecharacteristics of each mode of transport and the composition of the system traffic structure inrural areas in China, discussing the influence factors of rural passenger transport structure fromthe scale of rural residents, level of economic development, transportation infrastructure, travelcharacters and traffic development policy.Thirdly, establishing the evaluation system of rural passenger transport structure consideringthe need of the traffic demand, the optimal transportation supply and sustainable resources andenvironment, then using the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of index.Finally, analyzing the established evaluating system by realistic instance. Using greycorrelation analysis method for comprehensive evaluation. The tested result in Huixian showsthat the passenger traffic structure of Huixian is reasonable.Based on the analysis of present situation of rural passenger transport and the residents’travel characteristics. Combining with the development characteristics of the passenger trafficunder the background of new countryside, putting forward the evaluation system of ruralpassenger transport structure and testing by real instance. The studies result has a certainapplication and reference value for the evaluation, design and planning of rural passengertransport.
