The Application Research On Knowledge Management In The Real Estate Project Cost Management

With the development of science and technology, socio-economic patterns gradu-ally stepped into the knowledge-economy era from industrial economyera.Knowledgeeconomy era has brought new challenges and opportunities for realestate development enterprises to manage their building project cost. A large amount ofcost data and empirzical knowledge is produced in carrying out the process ofconstruction projects.Managing it effectively and maximizing the value of knowledgeare effective measures taked by real estate enterprises to cope with the grim marketsituation, which can continuously improve the level of enterprises’ cost management.Atpresent, however, the management of construction project cost knowledge for real estatecompanies is still at alow level and less chaoticstate, which is very unfavorable forexploring and playing the value of the cost knowledge of construction project.Therefore,in connection with status of the management of real estate projects’ cost knowledge,proposing a practical knowledge management program is needed to solve this problem.This article is based on reading a lot of literature. It summed up the status of realestate enterprises’ cost knowledge management and existing problems also on thebasis of expert’s visits to part of the real estate enterprises in Chongqing.Throughsorting the content of the of construction projects cost knowledge, cost knowledge ofconstruction project is classified from multi-angle and its feature is summarized. Theconcept definition of the construction project cost knowledge management is alsofulfilled.The features of the implementation of knowledge management in the real estateenterprises’ cost management and key constraints are summed up through the analysisof knowledge management’s process and liquidity.Finally, measures for theimplementation of knowledge management is proposed from three aspects, that are costknowledge management system construction, creation of a learning organization andconstruction of knowledge management implementation environment.Through the research on the application of knowledge management in real estateproject’s cost management, theory on management of construction projects’ costknowledge is enriched and developed,which has a certain significance in the practice of construction projects’ cost management.
