At present, appearance shape and interactive form of3C products (Computer,Communication, Consumer Electronics) whose integration and complexity of productfunction increase constantly, are deep changing unceasingly. Furthermore, users havechanged their demands from single pursuing function to claiming more emotional andexperience satisfaction. Users are facing product semantic cognitive and operationalunderstanding problems in the interaction with3C products more and more. Therefore,relevance relations between product form and semantic elements as well as effectivesemantic communication have become one focus in present industrial design researchfield.Against characteristics of3C fusion and product morphological change in morerecent times, we research the deconstruction of form and semantic elements andrelevance relations between them as well as the psychology factor in3C productsemantic communication through semiotics theory. At last, sum up a set ofconstructing method of3C product form-semantic communication model andprinciple framework. The main research contents and results of the full text are listedas follows:(1) From the perspective of product design, appearance and interactive featuresof3C products and corresponding user demands are classified to analyze by designsurvey.(2) Based on symbolic model and semantic communication theory, form andsemantic elements of3C products are deconstructed all-around contacted with theactual case. At the same time, according to the symbol encoding and decodingtheories, relevance principles and methods of form and semantic elements areresearched.(3) User cognitive and behavioral characteristics and influencing factors at theprocess of3C product semantic communication are studied in depth. Facing productcomplexity, some principles of avoiding "incomprehensible" in3C product semanticdesign are put forward by communication theories of Semiotic semantic.(4) On the basis of effectiveness and efficiency principle of semanticcommunication, constructing methods and frame structures of3C product form-semantic communication model are proposed based on overall theoreticalsystem of industrial design. Combined with "inheritance" and "variation" of thecompany’s existing product morphology gene, the validity of the methods mentionedabove are verified by the relevant cases.
