Construction waste after the removal of the abandoned concrete buildingsbecame an urgent problem for sustainable development as the concrete applicationswere more extensive in the human process of modernization. Recycled concrete is animportant way to solve this problem. The key to promote the application is the studyon its structure performance. This subject wants to study the properties of recycled concrete component in thetwisted case through testing and finite element analysis recycled concrete beams. This paper first made six groups of recycled concrete beams of which the coarseaggregate replacement ratio and reinforcement ratio is different from one another. Weaccomplished all12specimens of pure torsion damage test. This paper depict thetorque-angle curve, the torque-strain curve, torque-stirrup strain curves, torque-concrete principal strain angle curve by the data collection instrument during theexperiment. This paper conducted a detailed analysis of the twisted failure modes of thecomponents of recycled concrete. This paper also study the the law how the cracks carryout and the failure modes in which the coarse aggregate replacement ratio andreinforcement ratio and stirrup ratio of the recycled concrete elements changes. The different coarse aggregate rate and stirrup ratio of recycled concrete puretorsion were analyzed in this paper by existing concrete twisted damage analysis theoryand ANSYS software. The analysis results were compared with actual test results.
