In recent years, with the acceleration of the process of China’s urbanization level, citypassenger and freight exchanges also will become more frequent, the development of vehiclesand vehicle level presents "fast", gradually becoming apparent contradiction between internaland external transportation, passenger and freight traffic, the cityThe Congestion face began tospread. Therefore, the road network planning problem has been more concern of roadconstruction and management departments, depth and reasonable to carry out the layout of theroad network, road network to optimize its content is particularly important. Many scholarsbased on a variety of theories and methods developed numerous traffic demand forecastingmodel, one of the most widely used theoretical model for a four-stage prediction method. As theclassic method of traffic demand forecast, the logical relationship clear, step-by-step access to awide range of applications in actual projects.Departure from the practicality of and internship units involved in the project, as theresearch object, through investigation and analysis on the the Yingkou area status quo, roadnetwork obtained the status quo road network exists. On the basis of the socio-economicdevelopment forecast, the traffic model of the four-stage method for theory, TransCADtransportation planning software tools, forecast travel demand in the region. In this paper,considering various factors in the prediction process to improve the prediction accuracy by theprediction model correction. Traffic assignment results based on the optimization of the roadnetwork, road network level gradation adjustment for confounding of passenger and freighttraffic, to take cross-sectional design for major road intersection canalized importantintersections using science to guide the way to improve regional road conditions and trafficenvironment. Finally, by choosing optimized evaluation from the technical evaluation, benefitevaluation and social evaluation of three angles, improved program proved its advantages morethan the original program.
