With the energy crisis and environmental problems is worsening, solar and other new types of green energy is becoming the focus of attention. But now the applications of solar photovoltaic power generation are only large-scale photovoltaic power plants or small power photovoltaic lighting in remote areas. Existing applications for the improvement of the energy crisis and environmental problems is Just a drop in the bucket. Different from the high power and using wide area of large-scale photovoltaic power plants, household photovoltaic power generation with its characteristics of "standardization, modularity, intelligent" makes green energy into thousands of families. Some key issues about the energy management of the household stand-alone solar system have been discussed and researched in this paper.First of all, in this paper, the characteristics, working principle and operation mode of the household photovoltaic power generation system have been described, the working principle and output characteristics of photovoltaic cells and batteries have been introduced, the significance of the research and the main content have been pointed out.Secondly, a household stand-alone photovoltaic power system based on the DC bus have been constructed, a capacity matching scheme of the system based on the need of electricity of a family in Qinhuang island have been researched; the dynamic equivalent impedance matching MPPT control algorithm and stabilizing voltage control algorithm have been used to constitute a PV array power tracking control method which is suitable to run in stand-alone photovoltaic system; and then combined with battery charge and discharge control and inverter capacitor current control, a energy management strategy for the entire system have been proposed, making the power supply system running efficiently and stably.Finally, the design of the hardware circuit and software of the system have been completed, the experiment platform of digital control based on TMS320LF2407A DSP has been built, the Matlab simulation of the coordinated control strategy of the system and the experiment of the capacity matching scheme and the energy management strategy for the entire system have been done, the results of the simulation and experiment show that the energy management strategy proposed in this paper can make the system work properly in all cases and operate stably, the design of capacity matching scheme of the system can meet the family’s daily electricity needs.
