It is in dire need of new materials to replace the wood and relationalmaterials which have been using for electromechanical box extensively duringthis period. It is due to the logs are used extensively, coupled with the lack offorest resources. In order to achieve the selection and box structure constructedreasonably by using the proper material, it also need introduce the designingsimulation analysis and calculation for the box structure.In this article, several important engineering elastic constants of the materialwhich is a thick-frequency pressing poplar laminated veneer lumber developedby the project team, were determined, analyzed and calculated by experiments.The engineering elastic constants include the elastic modulus of the longitudinal(parallel to grain)EL, transverse (perpendicular to the fiber direction)compression elastic modulusET, tangential (thickness direction) of thecompression elastic modulusEZ, Vertical and horizontal aspect of Poisson’sratio μLT, longitudinal and tangential Poisson’s ratio μLZ, transverse and tangentialPoisson’s ratio μTZ, vertical and horizontal shear modulusGLT, longitudinal andtangential shear modulusGLZ, transverse and tangential shear modulusGTZandso on. In the experiments, different kinds of measurement were used for thestrain gauge and deflection method, which was based on the four-point bendingmethod and separation stiffness method for the testing model. Determined byexperiments, it showed the performance of the material, and provided a referencefor further practical application of the material.At the same time, this article establishes a stereo three-dimensional digitalmodel of the box and parts which were actual using based on the large scalethree-dimensional CAD modeling software Pro/E and finite element analysissoftware ANSYS platform. And the statics and modal simulation analysis wasresearched, combined with wood and composite materials used for box. It isachieved the using of simulation analysis for the electromechanical box by theconditions of static load, vibration load and transport simulation via computer.The mechanical properties and related data in the using of the box were inferred,after getting the simulation output parameters and calculated results. It used twodifferent kinds of material, which were pine and thick high-frequency pressingpoplar laminated veneer lumber in the static analysis and research. And got thedata of structure member stress and displacement for the box overall. Considering the working conditions during the actual using of the container when transported,such as surging, vibration, and etc., it has researched the modal analysis for theoverall structure of the box. And got the data of natural frequencies and modeshapes of the structure. It provides a certain reference foundation for the follow-up designing, structural optimization, and the practical application of theseparameters and results for box using. The using of logs and other raw woodmaterials was reduced to achieve the economic using when it can meet theperformance at the same time. The constitute of the key parts of the box bearingmember structure has been optimized based on optimization designing, which isvia the optimization designing module of ANSYS software. It provides areference for carton production applications, and a certain value in using.
