Suspending pipeline has been widely applied in pipeline engineering, but there isstill little dynamical research on circular arch suspending pipeline. The dynamicalresearch of circular arch suspending pipeline is very limited in current designspecifications and standard drawings. Therefore, dynamic characteristic analysis andseismic response analysis are carried out for circular arch suspending pipeline in thispaper. The conclusions obtained from this paper can provide reference for the seismicdesign of circular arch suspending pipeline.Firstly, added mass method and fluid30element are used to study the fluid’sinfluence of dynamic characteristics by software ANSYS. Moreover, the effects ofspan height, diameter, thickness and span on natural frequency are analyzed. Secondly,the seismic responses of circular arch suspending pipeline subjected to horizontal andvertical under Tian Jin and EL-Centro earthquake waves are calculated. Finally,traveling wave effects of pipeline under X direction’s EL-Centro earthquake wavewith different spread velocities are studied. The traveling wave effects of differentspan length and span height on circular arch suspending pipeline are also discussed.The research shows that: the liquid inside pipeline can reduce the naturalfrequency of pipeline; The Z direction’s dynamic response is greater than Xdirection’s and Y direction’s; Compared with empty pipeline, the von mises stress ofsupports with semi-arch water load is larger under earthquake wave. Traveling waveeffect has great influence on Y direction’s deformation. |
