At present, although the suspending pipeline used widely, the design manual andstandards are very limited for the circular arch suspending pipeline which can nottruthfully reflect the pipeline's state of deformation, stress and distribution in workingcondition. Much less qualitative analysis for the stability of large span arch pipelineunder working pressure and wind load. Therefore, the FEM analysis is used in archbridge structure to provide guidance for design and optimization.This paper uses ANSYS to do the numerical analysis research on circular archsuspending pipeline . First, establish the finite element model of circular archsuspending pipeline , calculat and research its stress and deformation in the variousload conditions. And then, do the stability analysis of circular arch suspendingpipeline on different rise-span ratios, different boundary conditions and differentinitial defects respectively. Finally, draw outlines all the factors of stability of longspan circular arch suspending pipeline.Study shows that: the most unfavorable working condition for circular archsuspending pipeline is the semi-arch water load; Rise-span ratios, slenderness ratio,boundary conditions and the initial defects have certain influence to buckling span ofcircular arch suspending pipeline.
