Using prestressed-concrete material as the girder to build a self-anchored hasmany advantages. It can increase the stiffness of the main girder and reduce theproject cost of bridge structure obviously by reducing the amount of steel. As thiskind of bridge just fits to the national conditions of our country, it has been usedwidely in our country. But the concrete girder also has its shortcomings. Series ofdiseases appear at the using process of concrete self-anchored suspension bridge.This paper is based on the Fu-shun Wan-xin bridge and did some research on therelated issues.Firstly, this paper introduces the mechanisms and calculation theories of theshrinkage and creep of concrete. A detailed study has been done based on the twospecifications for highway bridges in China. The regular patterns betweenparameters and creep coefficient can be get by the using of computer program.Based on this, a secondary development has been done on the ANSYS platform.Using the program can calculate the shrinkage and creep effect of Fu-shunWan-xin bridge through the analyzing the model building by ANSYS.Secondly, two methods simulating the main beam have been introduced.Building the single main beam model and three main beam model by the finiteelement analysis software—ANSYS. Then, getting the differences of selfvibration characteristic of Wan-xin bridge between these two models, throughcomparing the self vibration characteristic of the modals with the self vibrationcharacteristic of actual measurement. This provides a basis for the later analysisof the detection results in this paper.Thirdly, a bridge detection had been done to test the function of the Wan-xinbridge. Some conclusions can get by comparing the experimental values andtheoretical values. Finally, a reinforcement program will be given out to solve theproblems of the bridge.
