Denitrification is the important measures of emission reduce of nitrogen oxidesand protecting environment. Denitrification tower is the important set ofdenitrification which is a steel structure building up of frame and reactor. Ensuring thesafety and stability of the denitrification tower has an important significance andseismic analysis an important part of it. The earthquake is multi-dimensional innature. The multi-dimensional earthquake can aggravate the torsion of structure. Theearthquake response of structure under the multi-dimensional earthquake is thedifferent from that under the one-dimensional earthquake, especially for complexstructure. Therefore, multi-dimensional seismic analysis of structure has an importantsignificance.This paper uses ANSYS to analyze the earthquake response of structure under themulti-dimensional earthquake. This paper creates a finite-element modal fordenitrification tower referring to a denitrification tower in Guangzhou and analyze thedynamic characteristics of the structure laying the foundation for the seismic analysis.Next, this paper uses the response spectrum method to analyze the earthquakeresponse of structure. Analyze the influence of the method and number of the modesportfolio and define the appropriate method and number of the modes portfolio. Inaddition, analyze the influence of the inputting of earthquake (the direction ofearthquake, the number of dimension) and the structural factors (constraint of pipeline,relative position between frame and reactor), and propose the appropriate suggestionaccording to the conclusion of this analysis. At last, analyze the earthquake responseof structure under the multi-dimensional earthquake from the displace and the force.The conclusion of this paper can be used as the reference of the design andconstruction of denitrification tower.
