Research On Causes And Safety Precautions Of Traffic Accidents In Beijing City

China has the most road traffic accidents in the word, which also accompany withhigh accident fatality rate and serious economic losses. According to statistics, thenumber of casualties who caused by road traffic accidents occupy approximately85%and the thousand vehicles mortality is about12times than the similar cities in abroad.Thus, it is would be have theoretical and practical significance for the causes analysisand safety precautions research on Beijing road traffic accidents.Based on the data, this paper statistical analyzed it and then found that there arevarious factors contribute to the road traffic accidents, including human, machine andenvironment.Based on gray relational theory, the paper analyzed the causes of road trafficaccidents in Beijing in recent years and established correlation coefficients with variousfactors, such as the number of accidents, the number of deaths and the number ofinjured, then got that motor vehicle factors have the closest relationship with theaccidents, deaths and injuries. In addition, foe the motor vehicle, the accidents mainattributed to the drivers’ speeding, other factors such as reverse driving, illegal U-turnand illegal grab the line also work.During analyzing the reason that caused by human, apart from error model analysison driver, including physiology, psychology and behaviors, the result of managing andorganizing pedestrians was proposed as well. Established the fault about road trafficaccidents, we found that the maintenance of the invisible fault, braking system andsteering system for vehicles are very important.Finally, the intelligent traffic management system and facilities have significantimpact on low accident rates. Associated with the situation in Beijing, this paperpreposed some precautions to improve traffic environment, minimum the trafficaccident rates.
