With the continuous development of national economy, power plants and industrial andmining enterprises for power equipment have become increasingly demanding, the technicalperformance, operation stability, repair and installation of fire and other aspects have putforward higher requirements. So for the electric power equipment especially the switchequipment improvement is imperative. In most of China’s power plants and industrial andmining enterprises in the power distribution system, the switch device is mostly used forvacuum circuit breaker. But in the motor load power is about1250KW, transformer capacityis about1600kVA, capacitor capacity of about1200kvar often occur in the followingproblems: when breaking short circuit current reaches a certain number of times needed toreplace the circuit breaker, which will undoubtedly increase the cost of the system; theselected good short circuit capacity cannot be changed; in breaking the inductive when theload is easy to cause the over voltage, thereby causing the interruption failure. High voltagevacuum contactor and a high voltage current limiting fuse combined electrical apparatus (F-Cloop) were born to solve the high voltage vacuum circuit breaker in the field and themalpractice.High voltage vacuum contactor as the control and protection of high voltage powerequipment main switch device, which has low noise, long service life, frequent operation andthe advantages of good. But the traditional high-voltage vacuum contactor control circuit inuse process more or less will appear such and such problem, the traditional control schemecan not realize the relay protection for some functions, but the vast majority of relayprotection devices are based on high voltage vacuum circuit breaker to the design, therefore,this article in one of our main tasks is the improved design of high-voltage vacuum contactorcontrol circuit, so the power system can be very good to protect equipment.High voltage current limiting fuse as the grid in the most simple and effective protectionof electrical equipment, not only has the advantages of simple structure, convenientmaintenance, low price and good overload and short circuit protection function, it all dependson the high-voltage current-limiting fuse two big characteristics:1, breaking short circuitcurrent;2, significantly limiting effect. In the F-C loop of high voltage current limiting fuse selection is a topic worthy of study, in combination with; we should consider not only theirbasic parameters matching, but also pay attention too many other aspects, for different loadshave different selection guidelines for reference.For high voltage equipment in use before there is a very important step is to test, the typetest is only able to prove this equipment can be used normally. Therefore, I in through theabove study, completed the experimental prototype production, and these are for the type testpreparation, many of these problems are not in our understanding of the theory of the case canbe resolved. The final test prototype by Shanghai electric power transmission and distributioncenter of the type testing certification test.
