High-voltage switchgear vacuum circuit breaker is an extremely important one kind of high-voltage electrical, it takes on the role of control and protection and its performance relates to the safety running of the power system.In order to achieve system reliability, stability, economic operation, we must ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment, Mechanical vibration signal is a wealth of information carrier, contains a large number of device state information, Used of modern information processing technology to extract the useful features of vibration signal parameters which is Used to determine mechanical failure, is today's hot of Fault Diagnosis.The problem for Vibration signal feature extraction, In the study based on signal processing theory, In-depth study of the wavelet transform and wavelet packet transform relevant principles, proposed two signal processing methods which is Used to determine mechanical failure:Index of wavelet singularity analysis and wavelet packet-Energy Spectrum Analysis.In order to obtain vibration data of circuit breaker, Experimental study done for High Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker Fault Diagnosis built experimental circuit, for normal and five common mechanical failure of the measured vibration signals (The moving contacts on the flexible connections Clip loose, The latch state is not normal, The base screw loose, Extra absorber has an invalid impact event, Body parts off campaign).Finally, we use the wavelet singularity analysis and wavelet packet index-energy spectrum analysis of vibration signals. The results showed:Signal singularity index is well illustrated in the signal characteristics of the local singularity, the failure will cause the peak waveform envelope changes in local,the resulting index of different singularities; Wavelet packet transform can press any of the known signal frequency resolution to a more sophisticated band decomposition, improve the frequency resolution of signal processing. Application of wavelet packet energy spectrum analysis of a malfunction of the signal, the percentage of energy in different frequency bands. The results show:these two methods can be used for high voltage vacuum circuit breaker failure detection.
