Recently,fluorinated polysiloxanes are widely used as softener agents to the fabric finishing. The main categories of modified dimethy polysiloxane includes hydro-methylpolysiloxane, hydroxyl-methylpolysiloxane,oxirane-methylpolysilxane polyether-methylpolysiloxaneand amino-methylpolysiloxane and so on.The bone of Si-O with higher energy than C-C,distinct polarity produced by the structure of Si-O,low surface tension and density of cohesion provide polysiloxane excellent properties,such as soften effect,heat resistance,oxidation resistance and climate resistance,etc..Fluorinated polysiloxane is a kind of polysiloxanes with long fluorinated alkyl chains.As a new type of organic silicon,fluorinated polysiloxane which combines the merits of both organic silicon and organic fluorin becomes a new hotspot in the field of materials.The polymers of fluorin and silicon used as surfacing materials have very unique properties and wide applicative perspectives.Therefore,the synthesis and application of organic fluorin and silicon is one of the important researching orientations.In this study,G502 and octamethylcy-clotetrasiloxane were copolymerized using the method of alkaline catalyzed copolymerization reaction to prepare two serieses of the fluorinated polysiloxanes.One series is binary polymer polymerized by G502 and octamethylcy-clotetrasiloxane,the other is polysiloxane containing fluorin and amido.The influencing factors of temperature and time of reaction,time of vacuumizing and quantity of catalyst were analyzed.Also the synthetic process of fluorinated polysiloxanes was obtained.Then structures of fluorinated polysiloxanes were characterized by the means of IR、19FNMR. Furthermore,the surface tension of fluorinated polysiloxanes was studied.Next,the fluorinated polysiloxanes had been used as agents on the cotton and dacron.The relation between structure of fluorinated polysiloxanes and surface properties was studied.Shade effect,handle effect,wet rubbing fastness and wash fastness were tested.The results revealed that the shade effect of dyed cotton and dacron was not influenced greatly,handle effect of cotton and dacron were enhanced,the wet rubbing fastness of cotton remained while;the dacron reduced a little,the wash fastness results didn’t have any change on both cotton and dacron.
