Fluorine surfactants and organic silicone surfactants both belong tospecial type surfactants, and they are widely studied at home and abroadrespectively. However, the synthesis of silicofluoride surfactant is arelatively new orientation, and there are little references in literature.Due to the low surface tension of fluorine and the yielding and curlycharacteristic of the main chain of the silicon-oxygen, the silicofluoridesurfactant has outstanding plasticity and is much afflnitive to the lowpolar substance. As emulsifier、dispersant、rheological agent, it wouldhave unique performance compared with the traditional surfactants.Recently, people are paying more and more attentions to silicofluoridesurfactants for their unique performance, but most of them are producedabroad, and due to the weak investment of study and application, ourcountry can not catch up with the developed countries at the quantity orquality or application areas. So, if there is some breakthrough on the study of this new type surfactant, it will have tremendous meanings onpractical use.The preparation of the silicofluoride surfactants in the paper iscarried out by grafting 1H, 1H, 2H -perfluoro heptyl methacrylate on partsof the methyl hydro-silicone oil, and then grafting allyl alcohol polyetheron the other parts of the hydro-silicone bonds. By modulating thehydro-silicone amount and the proportion between the hydrophilic andhydrophobic groups, the silicofluoride surfactants with different structurewere synthesis successfully.Firstly, the methyl hydro-silicone oil was synthesized with the highhydrogen content silicone oil, D4 and MM being the materials. Moreover, the reaction mechanism and the low-boiling point substance produced inthe reaction process were analyzed, and also the molecular weight and thehydro-silicone amount were tested during the experiments.Secondly, through changing the amount of 1H, 1H, 2H -perfluoroheptyl methacrylate, the silicofluoride of with different hydro-siliconeamount were synthesized for every kind of the hydro-silicone oil preparedin the first step. The residual hydro-silicone amount of the silicofluoridewas measured by chemical titration, and the reaction mechanism andconditions were studied also.Thirdly, different allyl alcohol polyethers (FB-400, F-6, B-400, B-700)were grafted on the silicofluoride which were synthesized by the second step. The reaction conditions were determined based on the studying thewater content of the reactants, the mol proportion of reactants and thereaction time. The final product was confirmed by using infraredspectrum. Furthermore, the basal analysis of the gel phenomena duringthe reaction were studied. Finally, the water solubility, cloud point, surface tension, cmc, emulsifying and foaming characteristics of the silicofluoride surfactantwere also studied in the paper.
